Beginners Driving Lessons

"My experience of Hamilton Driver Training, and in particular my driving instructor Mike was brilliant. Mike was able to provide a carefully structured approach to my driving lessons, explaining what we would be tackling and giving feedback after each lesson. Every lesson felt useful and at every point I came home feeling that I'd progressed a step further. I really enjoyed how friendly and approachable Mike was, and had no qualms about asking him questions or bringing up concerns I had with my driving. I not only was able to learn the practical skills that are required for driving, but also to build the confidence I needed to drive safely. The Hamilton head office was also incredibly useful, calling me personally if there was any unforseen issues about one of my lessons (eg driving instructor sickness). They felt much more personal than a larger driving school and acted professionally and politely in any contact I had with them. I was an especially nervous learner as I come from a small mountain village in India and the British road system, including city driving was completely new for me. "I was training to be an ADI in Northern Ireland, I sought the help of Alan after I passed parts 1 and 2 in Northern Ireland but then struggled to find a suitor for the part 3 training. "The best way to describe my ADI training with Alan Hamilton (a Grade 6 ADI) would be, educational and very enjoyable. This is a family run business which successfully combines a professional and friendly relaxed atmosphere.

Throughout my training I was able to easily adjust the rate of learning around my changing circumstances, as I went from employed to unemployed. The course work was clearly planned out so I always knew exactly where I was and what lay ahead.

Preparation for the part 1 exam was made easy by being supplied with good quality information to study from and helpful advice was readily available from Alan. Driving lessons for parts 2 and 3 were on a "one to one" basis in the car. This training was relaxed and informative which, I'm sure is the best atmosphere for learning, it certainly was for me. Again there was excellent study information provided with Alan on hand to assist.
